“Pissed” might be an understatement, Spooky…

Please note: These are work-in-progress colors. Vero should get me the final colors soon.

So!

So! Amanda has a plan to defeat the trap! And they’re doing it!

But Spooky’s friend still seems somewhat inexperienced with using her powers. At least, in combat.

Will her plan work? Does she have the strength to create the link, let alone maintain it? And even working as a team, will our heroes really be able to defeat… themselves?!

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

  1. Avatar for Nate Nate says:

Well, the classic strategy for dealing with “evil duplicates” is to switch opponents, so she’s on the right track.

  2. Avatar for TTwo TTwo says:

I’m thinking back to page 15, when Amanda points out she was also there and Sircea says she’s Spooky’s friend and Mitch is a stranger. It might be a little embarrassing if the person the Platinum Priestess basically dismissed is the one to exploit a vulnerability in her clever security system.

  3. Underestimating Amanda does help explain why, back in Engaging the Enemy, The Platinum Priestess advocated for killing Commander because she was the biggest threat. I doubt this gambit will be an easy win for our heroes, and there’s probably a backup security element that Sircea didn’t mention, but I think they will succeed at obtaining the weapons.

Also, now I’m wondering where these weapons are in the present-day continuity, since I doubt Spooky has anywhere safe to deposit them afterwards…
