This bad guy won’t always speak in rhyme. It just worked out that way on this page. 🙂

END CHAPTER TWO OF DOUBLE-CROSS.

And… we’re going to take just one day off to work on our buffer of pages, and then we’ll be right back with Chapter 3 with the following update day!

This means we have the colored page today, but no Preview Page. Then we’ll have the Preview Page of the first page of Chapter Three at our usual time on Wednesday next week, but no colored page. And then on Saturday next week, at our usual time, we will be back for posting both the colored and the Preview Page on the same night.

Confused? Don’t be! We’re just skipping an update day after this page, but with the Preview Pages, $5+ Patrons will still be able see something new on Wednesday. So, as a Patron, be sure to check in at our usual time next week! 🙂

I hope you’ve been enjoying Double-Cross so far. Chapter 3 is even more fun—more action, more cool characters from the past, and there might even be a nice chunk of that slow burn romance I promised. Stay tuned!

Confused? You won’t be after the next episode of Soap.

  2. I can just say that I’m in denial
(not about the break but the plot of course! I only noticed after posting that it could be gotton wrong :joy::sweat_smile:)

  3. No! Cannot happen! There is a rescue of some type in the works! Right? Right? Please?

  4. Avatar for Klaus Klaus says:

So this was a trap for Spooky all along. Though if he wants him alive, why the canon?

  5. Avatar for Nate Nate says:

    Haven’t you heard?

    Dicks love cannons.

  6. I don’t know what Mitch’s best option is here. Wounded or not, he must act. Should he fly away as fast as he can? I’m still rather fond of my pick-up-the-entire-damned-church option, though. The trouble is, I don’t know how lethal red magical energy is or how fast it moves. He could be tagged easily no what what he tries to do.

  7. Avatar for Nate Nate says:

Maybe a bit of pew-pew action?

There ARE a lot of pews just lying around…

  8. Soap was a definite influence on me growing up. I recently rewatched it and it wasn’t quite as strong as I remembered, but still fun.

If you believe in our heroes, they will succeed. Eventually. Most likely.

I am afraid Flyboy and Teen Spooky are on their own here.

    A good question, Klaus.

    Ha!

Do you think Mitch would be capable of running away with Spooky in such danger?

    Ha! Ouch…
