What could possibly go wrong?

A heads up: The Patreon has now slipped under $6000/month, which puts me over $1000 in the red in month. I am looking into other solutions, but if you’re enjoying what you’re reading, and would like this comic to continue, please consider joining (or rejoining!) your fellow readers and becoming a member of the Woolfpack on Patreon.

And, speaking of our awesome Patrons, it’s my great pleasure to send out a very special Woolfpack anniversary “thank you!” to those superheroes who have been supporting our work month after month!

First let me thank our pack member who has been supporting our work for the last 12 months as of this week (May 5 – 11):

SunStar

(You totally rock!)

I’d also like to send out a big thank you to those Patrons who have been supporting our work for 24 months of this week (May 5 – 11):

Richard S., Caitlin T., Jeremiah W., and Michelle W.

(Two years of support! Thank you so much, Richard, Caitlin, Jeremiah and Michelle!)

And a heroic thank you as well as for a Woolfpack member who has been supporting our work for 36 months of this week (May 5 – 11):

Murilo S.

(Three years of support! Thank you so much, Murilo!)

And, finally, let me send out a rousing howl to those members of the Woolfpack who have been supporting this comic and our work from the very beginning!

Here are all the awesome readers who have been supporting me and this comic for 48 months (4 years!) as of this week (May 5 – 11):

Steve, Euan M., Nate M., and Nic T.

Y’all are so awesome! Thank you so, so much, Steve, Euan, Nate and Nic!

Thank you all so much for your amazing, ongoing support! It’s the consistent support that is what really allows me to continue making this comic. You all truly are superheroes!

(Want to make sure this comic continues? Would you like to have access to special benefits like extra-sexy pages with our characters, exclusive Young Protectors pin-ups,  and behind-the-scenes scripts and art? Please take a look at my Patreon page and consider joining me and your fellow awesome readers as part of The Woolfpack on Patreon!)

So! Spooky has had to come up with a plan on short notice to save those kids. What do you think? Is this the right way to go about it? Should Cory really be involved? And what do you think is going to happen next?

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

Comments From The Young Protectors Community

  1. That sounds like a “Hit and Run” - - Mitch and Cory grab the children and run away while Spooky hits The Platinum Priestess and keeps her busy.

  2. Pretty much. Taking advantage of Flyboy’s speed while still having someone to watch his back while Spooky takes on the heavy hitter.

  3. I’m watching repeats of Babylon 5 and the episode is THE LONG NIGHT where Llondo Mollari and Vir Cotto incompetently conspire and then incompetently try to assassinate the insane Emperor Cartagia. Nothing goes right and everything goes wrong… but Cartagia does die…
Could that be foreshadowing of our Heroic Trio’s efforts?

  4. That sounds nice and all… but I soooo doubt that Cory can stay hidden… there are so many of them and the Platinum Priestess might notice something, too. I doubt hiding behind that one big tomb is a good idea in the first place x’D especially as he has to look over it to see anyone to be able to judge who to smack down (next)… he’s already bound to be noticed ;____; Though he continued to hide behind the trees or in the bushes he might also be seen at some point…
I’m equally concerned about Spooky though, Cory and Mitch are right, what exactly is he planning on doing?
And let’s not forget that this magical shard led them there, it could still all be a trap D:

  5. And speaking of the magical shard, that’s one of the details that I enjoy in Adam’s linework. This is such wonderful fun - it reminds me of an evil swimming pool, or a teeny-tiny birdbath or a magical tambourine piddling on {I don’t know what} …

  6. (I didn’t realize Disqus was still down at the bottom. hmmmmmmMM)
AAAGGHH bites nails well at least I’m so late to this I’ll see what Spooks has to say tomorrow (today?). Hope it’s not something self-sacrificial…

  7. I too really like the details Adam gave to the scrying disc.

Yep, those comments are still there, but I’m glad to see you commenting here on the Community site. Many more cool features than Disqus.
