Go get ’em, Mitch!
So, I’m now back from Rainbow Con 2015 where I got a chance to meet (and have dinner with!) a bunch of very special readers. Even though I’m sick now (for the third time in a month!), it was totally worth it because of the people I got to see. Some flew in from other countries just to see Adam and me! And getting a chance to table with Adam was awesome—whether we’re talking strategy for The Young Protectors or just bantering about superhero TV shows, he really is like a brother from another mother. (And I also got to meet his husband for the first time, and not surprisingly, he’s also very cool. ) The Con staff were awesome and made Adam and I feel most welcome. And it wasn’t a comics convention at all, far from it actually, so it was really exciting to get to meet so many M/M authors. I’ve got some fun reading ahead of me!
But now, I’m home, at long last, and for the moment, I’m looking forward to taking a breather and very much looking forward to finally getting back to my life. And to this new Flyboy story! 😀 I’ve been wanting to share this with you for a very long time and I’m so glad you are liking what you’re seeing. Danger and romance is ahead for our young hero—and much fun for y’all. This bonus comic is a chance for me to tell a complete superhero story in one go, with all the themes that are important to me, while also getting a chance to go deeper with a character we’ve only really seen on the sidelines. I really hope you enjoy the ride.
And it looks like Flyboy has spotted some trouble below! I wonder what he’s going to do about it? And what more will we learn about him as he swings into action?
Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀
