Um… what the heck are those things?!
HEADS UP: Well, heck! I thought it would be a bit longer before we needed to take another short break, but my artists have requested a bit more time this month to build a buffer, and on a personal level, I now need to move my elderly mother this week from her current Assisted Living Facility to a new one, closer to me, which will involve some… heavy lifting. So, to keep the train on the tracks, we will be taking the next two updates (one week) off.
Next update will be not this Saturday, but rather on Saturday, October 15th. Fingers crossed this will be the last break we will need to take for a long while. As always, I really appreciate your patience and readership while my team and I are navigating some of the speed bumps of life. And I hope you continue to enjoy what we’re putting out there. 🙂

Please note: These are work-in-progress colors. Vero should get me the final colors soon.

So!
So! That spell the minions cast. It looked like it set them all on fire and then… And then, I don’t know! But whatever happened next, both Amanda and the mob family are looking to end it all in a hailstorm of bullets?
What the heck just happened? And are bullets going to be enough to stop it?
Tune in not this Saturday, but rather on Saturday, October 15th to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀
Now would be a good time for Flyboy to try out his bow.
Well, I thought the minions would be sacrificing themselves, but I just expected them to open a portal.
This… is different. And will likely look absolutely insane, when colored.
This does look bad. Spooky’s green energy chains shattered, but I think not from brute strength from these new monsters, but from some sort of magical incompatibility. Spooky might have better luck if his magical constructs were less rigid, like a glue trap, maybe, but it’s iffy. I don’t think bullets will harm these demonspawn at all, but of course they need to try.
I see two hopeful things about this situation. One, the godly weapons will probably be able to help quite a lot. For all we know, that shield might be able to provide ranged protection for everyone nearby that Amanda wills it to protect. Two, the three family members in the last panel all have names and tags under the comic. Named and tagged characters tend to live to see another day, no?
Bonnie, Devon, and Clarissa, welcome to the story. Hope you survive the experience!
WELL THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY
omg what a legitimately terrifying page (but i am the wimpiest of wimps so shrugs). amazing job!!
now then i’ll go back to screaming… Spooky’s reaction is Not Good, and i bet $100 those bullets are useless, and F*$^ THOSE THINGS ARE F%#!$%^ HORRIFYING
