Hmmm. I wonder what the absolute, most important rule of being a superhero is?
After a wonderful run of fifteen bonus pages in a row (thank you all so much!), y’all gave us this Wednesday off. Then, shortly before this page was posted, y’all hit that the donation target once more, so that means that in addition to today’s and next Saturday’s regular updates, there will be a bonus update this Wednesday! WOO HOO!
Special thanks go out to long-time supporters Cassandra R. & Emily R. (both making their second generous donations to The Young Protectors!), Mike M. (who makes their third generous donation to The Young Protectors!), Perrine S. (who makes their fifth generous donation to The Young Protectors!), Loraine L. (who makes their sixth generous donation to The Young Protectors!) & Saxon B. (who makes their sixteenth (!) generous donation to The Young Protectors!) and a warm welcome and grateful bow go out to new supporters Kyle F., Adam R., Christopher P., Casey S., sin w. & Rebecca B. for their generous donations over the last few days!
Big hugs go out to long-time superfriends joshua G. and Daniel N. for their super-generous $25 donations. (This makes joshua’s twelfth (!) super-generous donation and Daniel’s 22nd (!!!) super-generous donation to this comic! Y’all are awesome! Thank you!)
Superhero-strength hugs go out to super-friend William R. for their amazingly generous $50 donation and also to super-friend Lisa G. who donated three times in a row over the last few days for a total of $49 in order to push the donation bar over the top! What a rock star! Thank you so much, William & Lisa! You both totally rock!
Thank you all so, so much for your very generous donations! It was an amazing treat to have fifteen bonus pages in a row and I am grateful to all of you for your incredible support. I put up a page of this comic for free every week regardless of donations, so it means a huge deal to me that y’all would support the comic (and encourage it to post faster!) in this way. Just like any creator, I have my dark days where I wrestle with self-doubt, but when I think of your generosity, all the dark clouds immediately vanish. I feel so lucky to have such awesome. readers. Lucky and humbled and very, very grateful. 🙂
So! It seems it’s not wise to make Kyle’s naked, invisi-blue butt angry. Lesson learned! For our next lesson, do you think we’re going to discover what that “most important” rule of being a super-hero is? Oh, yes, I think we will. Tune in this Wednesday to find out!
Hope to see you there!
